This painting received a "best picks of the day award" on my on-line gallery: Daily Paintworks!
I painted this for the DPW Challenge, German Mountain Road. I had submitted an earlier version and wanted to re-work it so here it is. This little gem has high contrast and noticeable texture and brushwork. You can almost smell the air and feel the heat of the sunshine. :)
